Event | ADSTAR 2024 - Australian Defence Science, Technology and Research Summit
The Australian Defence Science, Technology and Research Summit (ADSTAR) will be held in Canberra from 17 to 19 September 2024.
Hosted by Defence Science and Technology Group on behalf of the Department of Defence, the summit is the leading event for promoting innovation, science and technology on a global scale. ADSTAR builds new relationships and strengthens established partnerships across Defence, government, industry, and academic sectors.
The 2024 summit theme is Accelerating the delivery of asymmetric Defence capabilities. It will feature an exciting plenary program in six themes aligned to the innovation, science and technology priorities outlined in the Defence Strategic Review:
- Trusted autonomy
- Quantum technology
- Information warfare
- Long-range fires
- Hypersonics, and
- Directed energy
A must-attend event for small-to-medium businesses, industry, academia, and Government professionals who have expertise and interest in harnessing capability for a resilient Defence force. Attendees will hear from and engage with senior defence leaders and researchers, as well as defence industry representatives and other Australian and international researchers.
