Opportunity | Defence Science Partnership Opportunity - Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordinance (GWEO) IS&T

The Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordinance (GWEO) IS&T program is seeking expressions of interest for two complementary programs through AusTender.
Fuze Technology Development Program
The Australian GWEO Fuze Technology Development Program (RFT 49499). The Invitation to Register (ITR) is the first stage of a two-stage procurement process for the Fuze Technology Development Program being led by DSTG.
The Fuze is a critical component of a GWEO system, providing the safety and detonation functions for a GWEO System warhead.
The Fuze Technology Development Program's intent is to work with a lead industry partner, and their small to medium enterprise network, to undertake Australian domestic prototype design and development of preliminary DSTG fuze designs, and demonstrate their manufacturing feasibility.
The ITR will be used to develop a shortlist of potential lead partners to participate in the second stage of the procurement process, where a preferred single lead partner, and industry network, will be identified to collaborate with DSTG on the GWEO Fuze Technology Development Program.

Warhead Technology Development Program
An Invitation to Register (ITR) for the Australian GWEO Warhead Technology Development Program (RFT 49498) is open. Complementary, and to run in parallel to the Fuze Technology Development Program, the ITR is the first stage of a two-stage procurement process for the Warhead Technology Development Program being led by DSTG.
The combined systems of the warhead and fuze form the lethal payload that is the decisive kinetic effect the Australian Defence Force needs to deliver in many of its missions.
Similar to the Fuze Technology Development Program, the intent of the Warhead Technology Development Program is to work with a lead industry partner, and their small to medium enterprise network, to undertake Australian domestic prototype development of DSTG designed small modular warheads, and demonstrate their manufacturing feasibility.
The ITR will be used to develop a shortlist of potential lead partners to participate in the second stage of the procurement process, where a preferred single lead partner, and industry network, will be identified to collaborate with DSTG on the GWEO Warhead Technology Development Program.
