The Minister for Defence Science and Personnel Warren Snowdon has discussed the progress of DSTO research programs during a recent visit to Melbourne laboratories.

Mr Snowdon said these coal face briefings underscored his confidence in DSTO’s ability to provide scientifically robust and technologically innovative solutions in support of Defence.

Accompanied by Deputy Chief Defence Scientist Dr Ian Sare, Mr Snowdon met staff from the future submarine project and staff working in support of HMAS Choules, before an update on Bushmaster blast protection research and the latest efforts to enhance soldier performance.
