Partnerships Week 2017

'Partner and Prosper' was the theme for DST's third successful Partnerships Week, held in August 2017 at DST Edinburgh.

The event attracted more than 500 visitors from industry, academia, government, the education sector and the scientific community. Delegates participated in briefings, site tours, workshops, match-up sessions, industry pitches and networking opportunities over the course of the event.

Chief Defence Scientist Dr Alex Zelinsky launched Partnerships Week 2017 by saying that strengthening DST engagement with industry, universities, public-funded research agencies and STEM stakeholders was a continuing journey to achieve capability outcomes for Australia's defence and national security.

"Partnerships Week reaffirms DST's commitment to teamwork and collaboration," said Zelinsky.

"It has become a significant milestone in our external engagement calendar as evidenced by the growing interest from our partners."
