High achievers in Defence science recognised
The team behind an enhanced Australian-made shipbuilding steel has won the inaugural Defence Science and Technology Enterprise Collaboration award.
The award was presented at the Australian Defence Science, Technology and Research (ADSTAR) summit as part of the inaugural More, together awards for excellence.
These prestigious awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of organisations, teams and individuals who consistently collaborate, innovate and contribute to enhancing science-and-technology (S&T) outcomes for Defence.

The runner-up for the enterprise collaboration award was DMTC for its National Medical Countermeasures Initiative.
