The cover of a scientific report
Our scientific output includes report literature

In this section...

Our scientific and technical publications are an important vehicle for the dissemination of our work.

We have several goals for our publications:

  • To communicate the results of the research program to clients and fulfil our reporting responsibilities to the Department of Defence.
  • To record the results of our research program.
  • To communicate the results of scientific research and technical information to Australian industry and academia.
  • To increase awareness of and enhance the reputation of DSTG.

The Dynamic Aerospace Vehicle Exchange Markup Language (DAVE-ML) is a syntactical language for exchanging flight vehicle dynamic model data. This report documents a DAVE-ML consistent syntax for managing data as vectors and n-dimensional matrices, including syntax for computing vectors and matrices using equations, and examples of encoding data using the syntax.

A biofouling treatment protocol for Royal Australian Navy vessels involves dosing with commercial disinfectant solutions containing the biocide benzalkonium chloride (BAC). In this work a single pulse proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopic method was developed in order to permit the determination of BAC content in commercial formulations without suppression of the water resonance.
