Our scientific and technical publications are an important vehicle for the dissemination of our work.

Crew survival in combat vehicles that carry their propelling charges and high explosive filled projectiles inside the crew compartment in the event of of an on-board explosion was examined. In a trial with simulated vehicles and instrumented simulated personnel results indicated that the thermal and ejecta threats posed the greatest risk to crew survival.
