Joint Experimentation and Wargaming Laboratory

The Joint Experimentation and Wargaming Laboratory (JEWL) is operated by Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) in partnership with the Joint Experimentation Directorate (JED), Operations Research and Analysis – Army (ORA-A) and the Strategy Executive.

Littoral Sea Command Laboratory (LSCL)

The LSCL facility replicates the command and control systems and operations room layout of Royal Australian Navy amphibious ships.

Australian Navy Submarines' Laboratory

SMCSL is the primary research facility for combat system capability support for the Royal Australian Navy's submarines.

Transonic Wind Tunnel

The Transonic Wind Tunnel is used to study high-speed aerodynamic flows around aircraft and to investigate how these flows interact with the stores and other attachments carried and released from the wings and fuselage.

Underwater Acoustic Scattering Laboratory (UASL)
