The HPC Network Specialist will plan, install, configure and maintain HPC network hardware and associated software ensuring the security, integrity and separation of access of data processed within the HPC facility. The HPC Network Specialist will prepare, implement and manage the HPC Centre Networks and classified research network interface to enable/troubleshoot remote access and data visualisation for Defence Science & Technology (DST) HPC users.

High Performance Computing (HPC) Data Scientist

The HPC Data Scientist will be responsible for liaising with Defence Science & Technology (DST) researchers to curate, coordinate and manage HPC data collections in accordance with the security classification, sensitivity of the data and the DST Data Management Framework. They will also gather and analyse data from multiple sources, perform statistical and/or mathematical programming, develop reports and visual representations, develop and/or maintaining databases, and provide consultation, technical assistance, and coordination for a wide variety of computational and data science research projects.

Data Scientist (Modelling and Simulation)

The Weapons and Combat Systems Division (WCSD) of the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) provides fundamental capability support to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) through modelling, high-fidelity computer simulations and analysis of complex dynamical systems. These systems emerge as a combination land, air, and sea platforms interacting with complex and dynamic warfare environments. The Data Scientist (in Modelling and Simulation) will undertake research within a diverse team, collaborate with stakeholders and clients, and contribute to inform decision making about capability acquisition as well as force design and tactical decisions for ADF operations.

Radio Frequency Engineer

The person appointed to this role will be embedded within the high power RF discipline, providing support to a number of projects focused on the effects of RF from both an environmental, as well as tactical, situation.

Radar Specialist

The Radar Scecialist will join a team of experienced engineers, scientists and technicians to develop state of the art technology and field prototype systems.

Analytic Scientist - Geospatial Intelligence

The Analytic Scientist - Geospatial Intelligence will formalise the concepts required by geospatial intelligence analysts and incorporate them into mathematical and computational models to help make sense of large volumes of dynamic spatio-temporal data.
